Incubator
From Fabricatorz Wiki
The idea is to incubate projects between Guangzhou, Panama, and San Francisco and work with the teams making the projects successful. This is not the type of incubation where a check is written, a team does their work in some crammed expensive location in Palo Alto eating pizzas, the incubator is in a dynamic international location where the team may stay, live inexpensively, have life experiences, while coding their hearts out. We believe that the key to making great projects is living a good healthy life in inspirational locations.
There should be a successful pointed focus in this first endeavour to take on a person or small team to do work for a period of time and provide team building and shaping in a specific location. There should be a call for projects, then a review process, and specific arrangement made per project. Also, location is of key concern to some of the projects.
There are a few different paths for teams. The first is for team to make proposal about a project, how much investment they want, and then a negotiation period. A second type of proposal would be to look at a set of ideas and projects, and make a proposal about completing a project (basically a free set of ideas to then build upon).
